Beach Days....

We went to the beach the other day ( I swear the water looked like choc. milk! eww nice) but the kids loved it and the beach itself was pretty clean with LOTS of shells. Can't wait until I can get some pictures of them this summer in PRETTY water!

San Jacinto Festival - Little Belle of the Brazos

Ashley was in the San Jacinto Festival's Little Belle contest and won Miss. Photogenic!! She was so excited. The first 3 pictures are from last week at the pageant and the other two from today at the festival. The rain held out for us thank goodness!!

Corpus Twirling Comp.

We went to Corpus this past weekend for Ashley's twirling competition. Part of the reason we went to this on was because it was in Corpus and we could also see John (Stacy & Keith too! lol). Ashley did great 3 1st and 3 2nds. Here are a couple of pics from this weekend.

New journey..........

My children have helped me go through journeys I never thought of when dreaming of that perfect baby I would have one day. My thoughts on perfect babies is.... they all are! We are all so perfectly imperfect! Our past journeys (which we still deal with daily) included surgeries, food allergies, consent ear infections, chiroprators and now SPD and Occupational Theraphy. Today is Ashley's first day at the therapist and she is super excited (she thinks its the coolest place ever). I wish it would just take one trip (its 45mins away) plus every morning with Ashley is a huge battle and headache but I know with time it will get better.
So wish us luck on this new journey!!

Ashley the STAR

Ashley had her twirling compitition on Sat. and she did awesome!! She did her first solo dance twirl routine and did great remembered the whole thing. I was amazed and everyone was cheering for her! Really made me want to cry! lol

She kept wanting to do more events but I had to tell her that I'll only let her add one more event per compitition.... she loves it. Oh and she got another high point trophy!

Our yearly picture meetings....

For the last two year Heather and her girls and then me and the kiddos have taken pictures of each other. Even though the kids didn't really work with us much we managed to get some cute ones.

La la la la ..Elmo's World...

Today we went to our 3rd Seseme Street Live Concert. It was Wyatt's birthday present since he needed no toys! Before it started Big Bird announced that the show was about to start and Wyatt looked like where in the world is that coming from.... then tried to hide under his chair. I was able to get him up but he looked like he would bolt out of his seat at any moment.... then all of a sudden Burt comes out and Wyatt jumps and makes this odd sound and then just watches after that he was fine. Him and Ashley got a high-5 from Rosita, Grover hugged Wyatt and Ashley hugged Prairie Dawn. They had a great time. We went this same time last year and I got almost the same picture as last year... where did the year go?

I was checking the lighting for my neices pictures for her birthday invitations and needed some test subjects and here are my kids poses..... Ashley always ask "how does this look Mom" it can be the goofiest pose ever and my answer is always "that looks great"!

Here is a picture of me and Ashley at the Nutcraker she did great and was so still the first half.... The second half was another story but she was better than the little girl sitting next to me.."what that" the whole time....

Also I'm trying to change my layout but I can't figure it out if anyone knows anything please pass on your knowledge... I need help!

Just for us....

I have decided to make a blog just for us.... because I have tons of goofy snapshots that I would love to share!!! Me and the kids are sick right now and both me and Wyatt are on breathing treatments. Thankfully he like doing them I have no clue why; then when he is done my little clean freak puts it all away.... he will be my helper. But when he is hungry he will find his food... here is an example of breakfast he found the donuts and sisters plate and dumped the whole sack in the plate.
